Hi, I’m Irene. Hands-on design lead with 13+ years between agency and in-house, in Amsterdam for 7+ years. Open to relocating. Bonus points for beaches. I’ve come to realise that I was never meant to settle in comfort, and I don’t give anything less than everything I’ve got. Along the way, I learned that I need to know what I do matters.

I worked with Rotterdam’s Zoo, Woven Capital (Toyota) and MDL Fonds. I grew from a detailed-eye into a creative leader who views the full 360° landscape from high. I protect the standards - even if uncomfortable - and I raise the questions people and the briefings tend to hide. I prioritise the art of thinking, because before any craft, it’s essential to understand what exactly we are solving and why. I craft brands, products and campaigns by creating identities and systems that hold them together. Today, I’m also leading the people behind them.
